Here are a few pictures of work the team did on the verandahs at Joyland (ie we built these!!), and a group picture of the wonderful kids who live there.

THE FAR FLUNG TRAVELLERS

On 28/03/08, 10 people from Avenue Baptist Church, Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, UK, will travel to the Philippines, to work with Gawad Kalinga, Heart of the Father & Community Solutions Philippines (COMSOL), in various places in Manila and Negros Occidental, an island in the Visayas, with people living in poor housing accommodation and in considerable poverty. We intend to give plenty - of hard work, resources, time, ourselves.... But you know what? We will probably gain even more than we give.
